High & Hansome

On the same track as the Bullfinch of yesterdays post there was many small birds at the top of the trees.
What a difference the spectacular light makes as the pictured Coal Tits were quite high but the camera has picked up the details well. They are zoomed in considerably and cropped but they say its good to share!

Beside the Coal Tits there was Goldfinch, Blue Tit, Siskin, Marsh Tit. Also Chaffinch, Wren and Blackbirds along here.

Hi Mike,
Wonderful, yes it was maybe quite high, but indeed you did a great job, they are still sharp and with a nice light... What a pleasure it should be to see this small bird... i still have to add it on my list!!

Interesting shots as I have not seen Coal Tits having a go at cones before Mike.
PS. Such clarity on the new header.

Great pictures Mike, small birds in trees are not easy to find through the viewfinder at the best of times.

The wee little birds look lovely atop the trees and the lighting is perfect. I really like your opening banner, very nice~

Thanks for your comments Chris, Roy, Lyn and Mary.
There was some lovely small birds up top, the Coal Tits as you can see were gorging on the cones, bits were scattered below on the snow. The lighting was great.
