Through the centre door!

For those that have not been to Bempton Cliffs RSPB or not for a long time a visit always produces Tree Sparrows which are frequently in the hedge row and bushes immediately outside the door of the visitors centre leading onto the reserve.

There are now a number of birds feeders in this location, and nesting boxes which seems to make the presence of these birds even more certain.

Yesterday was a nice bright sunny day, less so at Bempton but a nice bit of light at the right time gave me these shots. Tree Sparrows always seem such characters. Maybe a strange posting from England's premier mainland sea bird colony.

Well these are quite nice shots Mike. I think I do not have any pictures of this little fellow. They are so obvious that I jsut forgot to take pictures of them ;-)

Great shots Mike. They have been showing really well on the roof of the visitor centre too.

I only went to Bempton once - way back in 1998 - and remember seeing these lovely sparrows, although I wasn't able to get any pictures. You've captured them perfectly in these shots.
