Thistle Eaters
I manged these pictures of Goldfinch today eating seed heads at the side of Castle Howard Lake, I some how do not fancy sticking my head in a load of fluff to eat but this Goldfinch thought nothing of it.

Brilliant images Mike! I'm just glad I am not a Goldfinch, having to eat fluffy seeds for lunch, and tea, and breakfast:-)
