ARNE RSPB

We have returned to Dorset and today visited Arne one of our favourite reserves in beautiful bright light.

We saw the usual suspects together with 3 Dartford Warblers, whilst they were close, one dropped into the heather 20' from us but did not re-emerge in the fairly windy conditions.

Sika Deer were out in the open on the far side of the estuary but on leaving the hide there was a small group in the trees.

I am extremely green with envy here Mike. Great images and a lovely place to visit.

Hi Mike :-)

Welcome to Dorset. Lucky you that you have seen the Dartford Warblers, I have yet to see them.

Woo Mmike, very nice. I love the two last pictures a lot. The light is very nice and the attitude of the deer very good! Well done!

Thanks Roy, Lyn and Chris.
I am fortunate to have a family base in Dorset (Pat's siter).
We are guilty of going to the reserves we know and love, Arne, Radipole, Brownsea, Portland. With family duties time goes so quick.
The light was lovely yesterday.
