First Chifchaff of the year - Wykeham Forest

An early morning walk in Wykeham Forest was rewarded with RedLegged Partridge, Skylarks, Chaffinch, Yellow Hammer, Robin, Blackbird, Fieldfare, Coal Tit, Blue & Great Tit.

We saw a good number of Hares in different locations and ended up with male Bull Finch, Siskin and our first Chiffchaff of the year very high in the trees but its call a dead give away.

Thanks Paul & Lyn, we seem to be getting a few migrants in now. It should be a good few weeks.

Hi Mike,
cool you were able to spot this guy for the first time of the year. It looks like spring is there. For us we have to wait more, it is snowing again even if the first migrants are noticed.

Thanks Chris
We had lovely weather back end of last week.
Today a lot cooler and wet. Hope you get some migrants soon.
