Nice set of images, and yeah they are a little on the 'noisy' side, have you tried using 'Neat Image' to get red of it, i use a plugin of theirs for photoshop.
Wow superb shots Mike and happy new year. I also got a slow start over here but it is mainly due to the cold, darkness and the tons of snow we got this year ;-) Happy new year mate!

I have used Neat Image Angad, I had a copy on my Desktop, not sure how you get a plug in.
